She will customize a personal program just for you based on your needs include recovery assistance, mindfulness practices, and yoga.

Hi guys! My name is Amy. I found yoga 17 years ago, right after a dark time in my life when I hit rock bottom. At the time I wanted to get in shape, but yoga gave me so much more. Yoga has helped me to find myself, create balance in my life, become more mindful and present! Yoga has enabled me to slow down in order to see the beauty of life and all it has to offer. My yoga practice today brings me back to myself and centers me in the midst of all of life’s ups and downs. Honestly, yoga just makes me a better person!
As an elementary school teacher for over a decade, I have always had a love of teaching and working with others. After seeing the positive impact yoga has had on my life, I wanted to be able to teach and share the amazing benefits with others. I am honored and humbled to pass on the teachings of yoga, something I am so passionate about.
My classes range from Gentle Flow to Advanced Vinyasa. Please check my schedule and specific class descriptions for more details. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
I am available for corporate classes, birthday/bachelorette parties, and school classes including workshops for staff on how to implement yoga and mindfulness techniques in the classroom.
There is nothing like a tailored class specific to your goals, in the comfort of your own home. We will discuss your yoga goals/intentions prior to meeting. Private sessions are great for beginners and advanced yogis alike. I will assist you into correct alignment and help you break through barriers that hold you back from your potential. Private sessions can be an hour of relaxing self care yoga, or intense and heat building, increasing strength and flexibility; or a combination of both! That’s the beauty of a private!

I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa training at Five Pillars Yoga school in NYC. The training also included prenatal teachings, as well as therapeutic and restorative yoga, creative and dynamic sequencing, precise cueing, Ayurvedic teachings, yoga philosophy, and anatomy.

Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance in other physical activities. After a run, or heavy workout, yoga will help your body relax while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the muscles you were just working on.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body.
